Cross-Departmental Research Groups
Cross-cutting issues are tackled collaboratively by several departments. This allows DIW Berlin to react flexibly to current and emerging economic and socio-political topics.
Research Cooperation
DIW Berlin works with a series of predominantly external research directors, research professors, and research affiliates. They collaborate for a specified period of time, fulfill cross-section tasks, and give important research impulses.

DIW Berlin houses the Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP), a service unit of the Leibniz Gemeinschaft.
