Since 2005, DIW Berlin has been compiling, together with the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and Deutsche Telekom Stiftung, a study which is based on over 180 data sets and which compares the innovation capacity of industrialized countries.
Logistics Indicator
The BVL/DIW Logistics Indicator is an economic seismograph for the German logistics industry, which, with 2.6 million employees, constitutes the third largest economic sector in Germany. The indicator incorporates data from both sides of the logistics market: the logistics service providers as well as the users from industry and commerce.
DIW Berlin Economic Barometer
Every month, DIW Berlin issues its DIW Berlin Economic Barometer, which captures current economic trends in Germany. By forecasting real GDP growth, it reports on the overall development of the country.
Economic Development Trends
DIW Berlin regularly publishes economic forecasts as well as spring and winter reports.
