    Paul Schmelzer is currently a Senior Researcher at DIW. From 2010 to 2013, he worked at the Federal Employment Agency (IAB). From 2005 to 2009, he participated in the international comparative DFG flexCAREER project (Flexibility Forms at Labour Market Entry and in the Late Career), at the University of Bamberg and University of Leipzig. His main areas of interest are labour market research, quantitative methods with focus on counterfactual causality, international comparison and industrial relations.
