    CV - Short Version

    Christine Herber is a PhD student at the DIW Berlin Graduate Center in Berlin. She obtained her master’s degree in International Economics from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and her bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics from Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. In addition, she spent study semesters in Puebla (Mexico) and Porto Alegre (Brazil). Her master’s thesis analyzed the association between breastfeeding and undernutrition based on household surveys from low-and middle-income countries. During her studies, she interned at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington, D.C., the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) in Berlin, and the German embassy in Chile. Furthermore, she worked as a student research assistant at the chair of development economics in Göttingen. Her current research interest mainly lies in development and health economics.
