The goal of this project is the theoretical and empirical analysis of the political decision to supply public education. Polit-economical models need to be developed to motivate the decentralized allocation of public education. These models will be used to answer a series of questions, i.e. individual preferences for supply of decentralized education, or the possibility of financing education via fees and educational subsidies in a decentralized system.
