Structural data on the construction industry

The study aims to provide a comprehensive as well as consistent and differentiated account of production in the construction industry. To this end, the study also recognises essential construction work rendered outside of the formal-statistical boundaries of the construction trades. Furthermore, the study will include model calculations on the share of new buildings (and construction on existing buildings) in terms of overall construction volumes. Moreover, and to facilitate a political-economic evaluation, the study will also provide estimates of the impact on employment and the national economy's overall development.
