DIW Berlin's Economic Policy and Forecasting Department is hiring a

 Postdoctoral researcher

to join the team as soon as possible with a focus on Labor markets
(full-time or part-time)

Aufgaben

DIW Berlin regularly forecasts the economic development of Germany and its most important international markets. The institute is a member of the Joint Economic Forecast and participates in the spring and fall projections on behalf of the German government. The team in the Economic Policy and Forecasting Department is responsible for preparing these forecasts and conducts research on current economic policy issues. To strengthen the team, DIW Berlin is hiring an

expert in Labor market economics

Requirements

  • Successfully completed scientific university studies in economics
  • Excellent or very good Phd
  • Very good knowledge in German and English
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently

We offer an interesting position in a large and dynamic research institute with strong links to the international research community and numerous contacts in federal and state administrations and in politics.

The salary is in accordance with EG 14 TVöD Bund. The contract is initially limited up to six years.
