Our focus is on competition policy topics like supervision of mergers and
acquisitions, supervision of cartels and abuse of market power. The research
contributes to the theory of industrial organization by taking input markets
explicitly into account.

Society and E-Commerce

This unit analyses the changes that result from the increasing importance
of information as an input and output of economic units and from the increasing
usage of modern ICT.



Network
Economics and Regulation

This research area contributes to the economic analysis of network markets
and network effects. A central aim is to identify key factors to create
