  • Lebenslauf - Kurzfassung

    Marco Giesselmann is Research Assistant in the Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) Research Infrastructure at the DIW Berlin. His research is devoted primarily to the impact of labour market reform in Germany on individual living conditions. Besides labour market sociology, he deals with processes of intergenerational mobility and social science research methods.

    He is member of a team that manages the biographical data in the SOEP. He is also responsible for SOEPcampus projects and has teaching assignments at Freie Universität Berlin, University of Mannheim and Hertie School of Governance. He was affiliated with the Chair for Empirical Social and Economic Research at the University of Cologne up to May 2011.
