Nuria Boot is a PhD student at the DIW Graduate Center and KU Leuven. She holds an Aspirant grant from the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO). Her research interests relate primarily to industrial organisation, in particular collusion in financial benchmarks and firm productivity. She holds a Bachelor in Econometrics, a Master in Econometrics and a Master in Economics, specializing in Industrial Organisation, from the University of Amsterdam. Prior to joining the DIW, she worked at economic policy think tank Bruegel in the area of competion policy and innovation. She has also worked as a trainee at the Chief Economist Team in the Directorate General for Competition at the European Commission, as well as in financial consulting.
