Abstract

This paper aims at giving first insights into the interconnectedness of violent conflict, employment and underdevelopment. So far economists discussed these topics rather independently, which lead to shortcomings in analysis as well as in policy recommendations concerning development policy. By giving examples from his own research the author shows that an analysis of those three issues is necessary for a sustainable development.
