The DIW Berlin organizes its annual workshop on macroeconometric modelling. The workshop will be held at the German Institute for Economic Research, November 18 - 19, 2016, in the center of Berlin. The aim of the workshop is to bring together academic researchers and practitioners to promote and exchange ideas in the field of macroeconometric modelling.
Contributions should apply modern time series or paneleconometric techniques to macroeconomic problems, where the economics of the euro area are particularly important. An extended abstract (about 300 words) or preferrably a full length article with JEL classification should be submitted to Christian Dreger (firstname.lastname@example.org) in doc or pdf format. The deadline for submission is October, 1. Authors of accepted contributions will be notified by October, 31.
Young economists are especially encouraged to present their work to an experienced audience. Participants have to register prior to the conference. A non-refundable conference fee of 110 euro has to be paid until November, 1. The fee includes coffee breaks, as well as a conference dinner on the first day and lunch on the second day of the conference.
