SUMMARY:Conference on the "Evaluation of Minimum Wages“
DESCRIPTION:The conference „Evaluation of Minimum Wages“ will be held at DIW in Berlin on July 4 and 5, 2018. The aim of this conference is to provide a forum for the most recent research on the effects of minimum wages. While the focus will be on the situation in Germany—after the introduction of the national statutory minimum wage in 2015—we also seek empirical contributions from other countries or papers with a theoretical focus or methodological advancements. The keynote lecture will be given by Prof. Dr. David Neumark (University of California, Irvine).
