SUMMARY:Prospective Electricity Generation Costs until 2050
DESCRIPTION:or the analysis of future German and European energy policy, widely varying assumptions about costs and technical characteristics of power generation technologies are taken. In particular, this concerns the development of costs for solar and wind technologies, as well as nuclear, coal, and gas fired power plants together with their respective production flexibility. Moreover, cost assumptions are subject to variations due to developments in relevant prices, e.g. fuel, capital and power plant prices.  The aim of the workshop is to present and discuss the (future) ranges of cost and technology parameters among experts from industry and research. The participation is limited.
