SUMMARY:Reproducibility and Household Panel Studies: Insights from the SOEP
DESCRIPTION:12:00-13:00 // The ongoing replicability and reproducibility crisis in the social sciences has revealed the importance of transparency, replications, and good scientific practice in the field of economics. But replication studies are scarce, innovations in these areas have not been sufficiently tested and scientific practices vary among researchers. Household panel studies offer a lot to behavioral economists and empirical economists who wish to run external validity tests and replication studies. Furthermore, a new replication and meta-science initiative "Lab Squared" will be introduced.
