  • CV - Short Version

    Claus Michelsen has been affiliated with DIW Berlin since 2013. He works in the Economic Policy department as well as in the department Firms and Markets. He was previously employed at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH). He studied Economics, Law and Politics at the University of Erfurt and Empirical Economics & Policy Advice at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg. In his dissertation, he focused on energy efficiency of residential buildings and the effects of housing market policy interventions.

    Claus Michelsen works in the area of business cycle analysis and conducts research focussing on corporate and real estate investments, housing market development and housing market policy.
