  • CV - Short Version

    Jan Stede is currently a Ph.D. student at the DIW Berlin Graduate Center. His research interests lie in industrial energy efficiency (e.g. market-based instruments and energy services) and the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS). Jan has studied the MSc Industrial and Network Economics with a focus on energy economics and climate policy at the TU Berlin and the University of Naples Federico II, and holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Cologne.

    Prior to joining DIW Berlin as a research associate and Ph.D. student, Jan worked as student research assistant and intern with the Institute of Energy Economics at the University of Cologne, as well as an energy consulting firm. He is fluent in German, English and Italian.
