  • CV - Short Version

    Pauline Affeldt joined the DIW in 2015. She started her Ph.D studies in the Berlin Doctoral Program in Economics and Management Science (BPEMS) in 2014.

    Pauline received her Master’s Degree in Economics from Tilburg University in 2011. Within her master program, she followed the competition policy track and wrote her master thesis about tying and bundling in two-sided markets. During her studies in Tilburg, Pauline worked as a research assistant at Tilburg University and as a student assistant at the Dutch competition authority ACM (formerly NMa). From 2012 to mid 2014, Pauline worked at the economic consultancy E.CA Economics in Berlin, gaining experience in advising clients in European and German competition policy cases (cartels, merger proceedings and abuse of dominance cases) in various industries.

    Her main research interests lie in Empirical Industrial Organization and Competition Policy and Regulation.
