Sabine Zinn Appointed to Monitoring Panel for the National Action Plan for Child Opportunities (NAP Kinderchancen)

Prof. Dr. Sabine Zinn, Director of the Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) at DIW Berlin, has been appointed by the German Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth as an expert advisor and member of the monitoring panel for the National Action Plan (NAP) for Child Opportunities (Nationaler Aktionsplan "Neue Chancen für Kinder in Deutschland").
The action plan implements the European Child Guarantee in Germany and aims to combat poverty and social exclusion among children and young people while strengthening equal opportunities and social participation. The monitoring panel provides scientific support for the implementation process, analyzes the living conditions of children and adolescents, and further develops the underlying data infrastructure. In doing so, it contributes to the evidence-based evaluation and continuous improvement of the measures implemented under the NAP for Child Opportunities.
