Completed Project
The principal output from the project will be new findings on economic and social determinants of preferences for redistribution, attitudes towards immigration, and political party affinities and voting patterns in Germany and the United Kingdom. The project is interdisciplinary in nature and is related to both the economic and political science literature. The core aim of the programme is to promote empirical research based on rich longitudinal data to provide a better understanding of the causal processes characterising individuals' political attitudes across the life-course.
