In its fith year, the BELEC focusses on contributions of young scholars and INFRATRAIN Doctoral School participants from a variety of organizations, with a focus on discussion and exchange.

The low-carbon transformation of energy and transportation systems, as well as sustainable development are becoming increasingly important for business, policy and research. The BELEC 2018 will address these topics for a lower-carbon energy future.

This year’s BELEC focusses on junior researches presenting their work and discussing their results both with academics and practitioners. It aims at a deeper understanding and exchange of ideas and perspectives on the various sectors, including theoretical approaches as well as policy and case studies. We are glad to announce the keynote presentation by Kevin Gould, Senior Advisor for Global Markets and Corporate Strategy at Statkraft.
