Report of March 16, 2020
DIW Berlin is reopening slowly: The first staff members are returning, but those who would like to remain working from home for the time being may continue doing so. In addition, external guests may now again be invited to DIW Berlin.
Thanks to our IT Department, all of our staff members can be reached via email as well as via the usual landline and mobile telephone numbers. For media representatives, the staff from our press office can also be contacted via the central email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
Public events at our building on Mohrenstraße 58 will, for the time being, continue to take place exclusively online. However, it is now possible to have conferences, meetings, and job interviews on site at the Institute, provided the hygiene and distancing rules are followed.
External, invited guests must wear facial protection (a mask) that covers both their mouth and nose from the moment they enter the Institute until they have taken their place in the designated meeting room. They must also enter their information on the guest list at reception.
Due to these measures, there may be limitations and delays in dealing with internal and external matters. However, thanks to these measures, we are able to help slow the spread of the virus and remain as active and open as possible. We thank you for your understanding.
Please contact us if you have any questions.
We will inform you of any changes to these measures on our website.
