Report of April 30, 2020
According to a study based on SOEP data, thanks to the increasing freedom to choose between parenthood and gainful employment and to organize childcare individually, mothers and fathers today are more satisfied with their lives than parents 20 or 30 years ago. The study was conducted by a research group led by Swiss sociologist Klaus Preisner.
