Izabela Wnuk-Soares joins the Crime, Labor, and Inequality Department as a postdoctoral researcher

We are delighted to welcome Izabela Wnuk-Soares to our Crime, Labor, and Inequality Department as a postdoctoral researcher. She earned her PhD in Economics from Freie Universität Berlin and her MSc from the London School of Economics. Her research lies in labor and applied microeconomics. She studies how immigration shapes labor market and health outcomes for both native and immigrant workers, with a particular focus on firm-level dynamics. She also examines how immigration helps address labor shortages driven by population aging, especially in the long-term care sector.
