Marco Giesselmann is a research assistant at the Institute of Sociology of the University of Zurich and Senior Research Fellow in the Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) Research Infrastructure at the DIW Berlin. His research is devoted primarily to the impact of labour market reform in Germany on individual living conditions. Besides labour market sociology, he deals with processes of intergenerational mobility and social science research methods.
