Education and Family Department
Jonas Jessen is a PhD student at the DIW Berlin Graduate Center and a research associate at the Department of Education and Family. His research interests are labour economics, early education and political economy. He obtained an M.Sc in Economic Policy at University College London (UCL) and a B.Sc.in Economics at Humboldt University Berlin. During his studies he worked as a student research assistant for the Institute for Competition Policy and the Institute for Empirical Labour Economics at Humboldt University and at the STICERD at LSE. Jonas Jessen conducted tutorials and exercise classes in Microeconomics II, International Trade and Labour Economics at Humboldt University and taught Development Economics at the international summer school in Havana (ISSEM). In 2015 he received an award for the best tutorial of the School of Business and Economics of the academic year.
