Tobias König is currently a PhD student at the DIW Berlin Graduate Center. He conducted his undergraduate studies in economics in Berlin and Groningen, thereafter he obtained his master’s degree in economics from Humboldt University Berlin in 2016. In his master’s thesis he investigated the interaction of financial frictions and frictions on the labor markets in a new-Keynesian DSGE framework with financial intermediation. His research interests are in the field of macroeconomics, in particular monetary policy, macroprudential policy and financial markets. He joined the DIW Graduate Center in 2016.
