Nicole Wägner joined the DIW Berlin Graduate Center in 2017. She completed her Bachelor studies in Economics at Humboldt University of Berlin and obtained a Master’s degree in Industrial and Network Economics from Technical University Berlin. In her Master’s thesis, she analyzed the profit distribution behavior of municipally owned utilities by means of microeconometric methods. During her studies, she worked as a student research assistant at the Chair of Environmental Economics at Technical University Berlin and was a guest researcher at DIW Berlin. Her research interests lie in the fields of applied microeconomics, econometrics and energy and environmental economics.
