Annekatrin Schrenker is a research associate at the Department of Public Economics at DIW Berlin and a doctoral candidate in Economics at the Free University of Berlin. In her research, Annekatrin analyzes the role of wage expectations for labor supply decisions and examines how policy uncertainty affects expectations. Other areas of interest include part-time employment and the gender wage gap. Annekatrin is a member of the collaborative research cluster “Rationality and Competition” as part of the working group “Biased Beliefs in Dynamic Decisions in Competitive Markets”, funded by the German Research Foundation. Before she joined the DIW in 2017, Annekatrin studied Economics at Humboldt-University of Berlin and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During her studies, she worked as a research assistant at the Chairs of Econometrics and Empirical Labor Economics at HU Berlin and the Department of Economics at UCLA.
