Josefine Koebe is Research Associate in the Department Education and Family of the DIW. She coordinates the BIEN network whis has been affiliated with the DIW since 2013. She joined the Graduate School of the University of Hamburg in 2017. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Berlin Humboldt University and studied in Tübingen and Paris. Her current research interests are in applied microeconomics and econometrics, in particular in the field of early childhood education and family economics. During her studies she worked at the Department of Education and Family of the DIW and tutored at the Humboldt University of Berlin. After her Master studies, she was in deputy charge of the office of a Member of Parliament for two years.
