Next to the Climate Policy department and the department of Energy, Transportation and Environment of the DIW Berlin (Germany), these are Tsinghua University Beijing  (China), Technology IIT Ahmedabad (India), University of Cape Town (South Africa), Australian National University (Australia) and Institute for Structural Research IBS Warsaw (Poland). Additionally, the DIW Berlin investigates the effects of a coal phase out scenarios on the global coal market and the major suppliers using the COALMOD world model, especially considering economic sustainability of further mining and production assets.
