Hedda Nielsen is a PhD student at the Berlin School of Economics. After completing her MSc in Economics at Stockholm School of Economics in 2018, she worked as a research assistant at the Research Institute for Industrial Economics (IFN Stockholm). Hedda holds a BSc in Political Science and Economics from Lund University and spent parts of her studies at the University of California, Berkeley and at Sciences Po. She has also worked for Statistics Sweden, as a teaching assistant and as technical editor for the Nordic Economic Policy Review.
Hedda's research interests are in behavioral economics and applied microeconomics. Her master thesis explored the impact of competition on risk-taking and effort using an experimental design.
