Laura Buchinger is a Ph.D. candidate in the SOEP’s “GRD-past and mental health: risk and protection factors” project since October 2019. Laura’s main research interests concern major life goals and personality as well as determinants of wellbeing and she is member of the Junior Research Group SocPsych-MH.
For the past three years, she worked as organizational psychologist for a consulting company in the field of occupational health and safety. In 2016, she completed her master’s in Clinical and Health Psychology at Free University. During her studies, she completed an exchange semester and a research internship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and worked as research assistant for the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin as well as for the Sustainable Building Science Project in Vancouver.
