Ellen Heidinger joined the SOEP team in March 2020 and is a research associate in the project “Longitudinal Aspects of the Interaction between Health and Integration of Refugees in Germany (LARGE)”. Since October 2020, Ellen Heidinger has been a member of the Berlin Graduate School of Social Sciences (BGSS) at the Humboldt University of Berlin, where she is pursuing a PhD in sociology. In 2019 she obtained her master's degrees in sociology and empirical social research (M.Sc.) from the University of Cologne and in demography (M.Sc.) from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Her research interests are migration, social support and integration opportunities. She is a member of SOEP's Junior Research Group SocPsych-MH.
