Ellen Heidinger joined the SOEP team in March 2020 and is a new research associate in the project “Longitudinal Aspects of the Interaction between Health and Integration of Refugees in Germany (LARGE)”.
In 2019 she obtained her master's degrees in sociology and empirical social research (M.Sc.) from the University of Cologne and in demography (M.Sc.) from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Her research interests focus on determinants of integration as well as migration and integration opportunities throughout the life course. She is a member of SOEP's Junior Research Group SocPsych-MH.
