The research group Entrepreneurship is looking for a

Student assistant (f/m/div) for 10 hours per week

that is interested in working with survey data and able to perform independent literature reviews. The candidate is expected to be involved in research activities of the SOEP and the research group “Entrepreneurship”. The candidate should help in a project on the effect of changes in mental health on subsequent entrepreneurial activities in an international comparative setting.

Main responsibilities

  • Handling of large and international household surveys (SOEP, HILDA, UKHLS).
  • Usage of Stata and/or R as well as the version control system Git.
  • Literature reviews.

Qualifications

  • Nearly completed bachelor's degree or beginning master's degree with a concentration in economics.
  • Experience in working with data.
  • Interest in learning handling of large households’ panels.
  • Interest in the usage of modern statistical languages, e.g., Stata.
  • Knowledge of English.
  • Ability to work in dynamic and international teams.
