Research Topics and Working Areas

Theresa Neef is a researcher in the Macroeconomics department at DIW and a Ph.D. student at Free University Berlin. She is also part of the research team of the EU Tax Observatory and a research fellow at the World Inequality Lab at Paris School of Economics. Her expertise lies in the areas of inequality research, public economics and international taxation. Her studies explore income inequality in Germany using the Distributional National Accounts framework, gender inequality worldwide, the revenue potential of the global minimum tax on corporate profits, and possibilities for more financial transparency in the EU. She holds an M.Sc. in Economics from Free University of Berlin.
