Research Topics and Working Areas

Alexandra Hüttel is a postdoctoral researcher in the Climate Policy Department at DIW Berlin and coordinates the Sustainable Finance Research Platform. In this role, she is responsible for project management and network activities of the platform. On the research side, Alexandra focuses on the potential of scenario analysis and forward-looking reporting for the transition to climate neutrality. In particular, her emphasis is on transition risks for emissions-intensive industries. After having worked on the societal transition potential at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and at the University of Potsdam, Alexandra now focuses on the political and (financial) economic levers for a successful Net Zero Transition.
