The Department

The vision of the Department of Development and Security entails conducting applied micro-economic research on key global challenges and to derive policy advice from this research. These global challenges include poverty, employment, adaptation to climate change, violence, uncertainty, terrorism, and war.

Change of name

1 June 2011: The department of "International Economics" has changed its name to "Development and Security".

Development and Security Seminar

The Development and Security Seminar provides the opportunity for members of the department and invited speakers to present on-going research.
