SOEP 2016 - 12th International German Socio-Economic Panel User Conference
SOEP 2016, June 22 to 23 in Berlin
The 12th International German Socio-Economic Panel User Conference (SOEP2016) will be held in Berlin, June 22-23, 2016, at the WZB | Berlin Social Science Center.
The conference provides researchers who use the SOEP with the opportunity to present and discuss their work with other researchers familiar with SOEP data. Researchers of all disciplines (e.g. economics, demography, geography, political science, public health, psychology and sociology) who use the SOEP or the SOEP part of the Cross-National Equivalent Files (CNEF) are invited to submit an abstract. We especially encourage submissions on inter-generational mobility in income, wealth, educational attainment, fertility, and related areas.
The conference will take place at the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung - Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB).

Berlin has a wide range (more than 800) of hotels all over the city. While every part of the city has its advantages and disadvantages, we will suggest (and prebook) hotels in the area of the conference venue (Anhalter Bahnhof – Leipziger Platz – Potsdamer Platz). This area offers bus and public transport connections to the conference venue (WZB Berlin) and many possibilities to experience Berlin after the official part of the conference.
We are pleased to announce as keynote speakers:
University of Oxford/UK
Jan Goebel, Carsten Schröder, and Christine Kurka
