DIW Berlin’s application to continue collection of data for the study Familien in Deutschland (Families in Germany, FiD) in the year 2013 was approved by the Federal Ministry for Family, Seniors, Women, and Youth just a few weeks ago, enabling this “SOEP-related study“ to continue. For 2014, it is planned that all of the households in FiD will be added to the SOEP core study and that the survey instruments will be integrated.
