The data from the SOEP-related study “Familien in Deutschland” (FiD, Families in Germany) are now available for the first three waves, spanning 2010–2012.
Each year, more than 4,000 household interviews are carried out with single-parent families, families with more than two children, low-income families, and families with small children. The survey also includes more than 7,000 personal interviews as well as more than 3,000 questionnaires about children up to age 10. With the third wave, the longitudinal dimension can be used even more easily, as information from 3,100 households is provided for all three waves.
