Personnel news of February 28, 2014
Michael Weinhardt left the SOEP on January 1, 2014. He is now working as a research associate at the University of Bielefeld on the German contribution to the European Social Survey, which is under the charge of Stefan Liebig. Michael completed his doctoral thesis on “The influence of values on occupational choice and the intergenerational transmission of inequality” and will be defending it soon. At the SOEP, Michael worked on the project SOEP-LEE – Linked Employer-Employee Survey of the Socio-Economic Panel Study and completed the project punctually and successfully at the end of 2013.
