WEALTH dataset updated - imputed wealth data for 2012

In 2012, the SOEP again collected individual wealth information. The original data are stored in the file BCP. In the meantime, the generated wealth information has been updated to include wealth information from 2012. The files PWEALTH and HWEALTH are now available for download. The process of imputing missing values for the previous wealth modules is documented in our SOEP Survey Papers 148 (SOEP 2002 - Editing and Multiple Imputation of Item-Non-Response in the 2002 Wealth Module of the German Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP)) and 146 (SOEP 2007 - Editing und multiple Imputation der Vermögensinformation 2002 und 2007 im SOEP; in German). Documentation on the imputation of the recent wealth data will become available later.
