Leben in der ehemaligen DDR (Daten 2018)

Zusatzfragebogen im Rahmen der Befragung LEBEN IN DEUTSCHLAND 2018

Mit der Erstellung des Datensatzes wurden zwei Intentionen verfolgt. Zum einen die Validierung des Datensatzes „Potsdam Grievance Statistic File (PGSF) - Eingabestatistiken der DDR zwischen 1970 und 1989" (Krawietz et al., 2018) und zum anderen eine retrospektive Befragung ehemaliger Bürgerinnen und Bürger der DDR zur DDR aus heutiger Sicht.
Themenschwerpunkte des Datensatzes sind:

  • Leben und Lebenszufriedenheit in der DDR
  • Beteiligung am gesellschaftlichen und politischen Leben
  • Mobilitätsverhalten und -absichten, Flucht
  • Erfahrungen mit Kontrolle, Überwachung und Inhaftierung
  • Berufsbranche und Erwerbsstatus: 1989

Population: Personen, die vor 1972 geboren wurden, bis 1989 in der DDR gelebt haben und seit 2018 an der Befragung „Leben in Deutschland“ teilnehmen.

Auswahlverfahren: Alle Samples des SOEP werden mittels mehrstufiger Stichprobenziehung, die regional gebündelt sind, gezogen. Die Befragten (Haushalte) werden per random-walk ausgesucht. 

Erhebungsverfahren: Selbstauszufüllender Papierfragebogen
