Martin Gerike

Martin Gerike is a Survey Data Scientist in the Survey Management department and mainly responsible for the SOEP Innovation Sample (SOEP-IS). He is the main person responsible for the research data management of SOEP-IS. He prepares the survey data, generates the datasets for the scientific use file and creates the related documentation for the data users. One additional work area is the development, conception and documentation of questionnaires. As the contact person for external researchers and for the survey institute, he coordinates the annual SOEP-IS survey. Martin studied International Management and also has an apprenticeship as a specialist in market and social research, which he completed as best of the year in 2019.
