Research Group Gender Economics

Research Group Focus

The Gender Economics research group at DIW Berlin analyzes gender gaps on the labor market, in particular the gender pay gap and the underrepresentation of women in top-leadership positions in the corporate sector. Moreover, the group works on several research projects on the evaluation of social policy, family policy and tax policy with respect to its implications on women’s employment prospects and women’s wages.
