Dr. Denise Rüttinger

As of January 1, 2022, Denise Rüttinger is DIW Berlin’s new managing director. Previously, she was head of administration at the Leibniz Center for Contemporary History Potsdam (Leibniz-Zentrum für Zeithistorische Forschung Potsdam, ZZF). She has also previously worked for the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik, SWP) and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Karlsruher Institut für Technologie, KIT). She studied German literature and political science and received her doctorate from the University of Konstanz.
