Julian Axenfeld is the Coordinator of the German Social Cohesion Panel (ZHP-FGZ) at the SOEP. His research focuses on imputation, nonresponse, and machine-learning methods for survey research. He studied sociology at the University of Mannheim, where he also obtained his doctorate. Prior to his current position, he worked as a Research Associate at the Socium institute at the University of Bremen and at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES) in the DFG-funded research project "Modular Questionnaire Designs for Social Surveys."
