Alina Ermolaeva is a PhD student at the Berlin School of Economics and has been working in the Macroeconomics Department at DIW Berlin since 2023. She holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Amsterdam, where she specialized in Monetary Policy and Banking. During her master’s studies, she was awarded the Amsterdam Merit Scholarship. Alina’s research interests focus on fiscal and monetary economics and their distributional effects on households.
