Lotte has been a doctoral student at the DIW Graduate Center since October 2023. Her research focuses on income and wealth inequality, with a particular focus on real estate ownership and its role in wealth distribution and accumulation. Lotte has a Master's degree in Economics from the Free University of Berlin and studied economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin. From 2019 to 2023 she worked as a student assistant at the Socio-Economic Panel, where she supported, for example, the construction of Distributional National Accounts (DINA) and other research projects in the areas of inequality research and economic history.
